Our Service Department is run by Rob who has a wealth of experience, spanning 55 years. Rob is a very talented engineer who can repair almost anything. Where AV is concerned, he doesn't believe we live in a throw away society. He doesn't like to be beaten and offers a very reliable service. So if you were thinking that your old amp, receiver or tuner was only good for the scrap heap . . . think again.

Service Terms & Conditions
All items are subject to a non-refundable deposit of £30 which is deducted from the final cost. An estimate will be provided if the total cost of the repair should exceed £85. You may however set a higher limit if required. Refused estimates, items beyond economic repair, parts unobtainable and no fault found jobs result in the deposit being retained to cover the engineer's time. The labour charge covers the first 1½ hours, except for speakers which are 45 minutes (each). Any additional labour is charged at £20 per half-hour or part thereof.

We have recently received several enquiries about repairs to Cambridge Audio amplifier and CD players. Cambridge Audio is owned by Richer Sounds and, as such, can only be purchased via their own stores and any servicing of their equipment can only be arranged via a Richer Sounds shop. Please contact your nearest branch of Richer Sounds if you require servicing on any Cambridge Audio products. Due to inavailability of spare parts and service diagrams, we regret that we can no longer undertake repairs and servicing of any equipment from Bang and Olufsen, Sony, Onkyo, TEAC and Pioneer. For servicing of Sony audio equipment, we recommend contacting Armstrong Audio - who may also be able to help with the other brands too. If you have any Onkyo, TEAC or Pioneer equipment that requires service, then please contact Armstrongs or choose from one of the authorised service agents listed here
Normal turnaround time for repairs is 8 weeks; this may vary depending on parts availability and workload. You will be notified by telephone as soon as the repair is complete. All prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%. Work carried out is covered by a 3 month guarantee. The company reserves the right to dispose of items not collected within three months of notification of completion.
Once again thanks for your help. I first visited Bartletts in 1993 and bought the Audiolab 8000a to equalise and compete with whatever the neighbours were playing at the time through the very thin walls of a Victorian Mansion Block. My Quad at the time although could musically could not compete. I had bought the Quad in 1984 at a place in Camden by Mornington Crescent, although I felt that I bought what" that particular shop "wanted to sell me rather than what I wanted.
Firstly delivery was estimated at 7-11 days - it was actually delivered by courier the next day (Free). Item was an excellent price and although it was advertised as used - it was absolutely mint. This is what internet buying should be like - well done all at Bartletts!
