About This Product

The Wharfedale Evo4.3 floorstanding speakers incorporate technology derived from the flagship Elysian series, featuring a 3-way speaker design. A newly designed AMT (Air Motion Transformer) high frequency transducer replicates point-source audio, and is capable of moving large amounts of air for lower distortion and highly accurate musical reproduction.

The Evo4.3 speakers feature bi-directional weaved Kevlar woofers, for a naturally self-damped, yet lightweight material with reduced resonances. The Evo4.3 uses the larger 5 inch woofers, along with a 2 inch soft dome midrange driver for increased clarity. The custom designed Wharfedale computer aided optimisation technology allows for fine crossover tuning, resulting in a unified driver performance.

For increased bass extension, the Evo4.3 takes inspiration from the Elysian speakers, using the bass reflex system that was previously developed for the flagship range. The Evo series features a sleek, modern design capable of fitting in anywhere, and perform equally well for music and home cinema, when matched with the Evo4.C centre.

  • Once again thanks for your help. I first visited Bartletts in 1993 and bought the Audiolab 8000a to equalise and compete with whatever the neighbours were playing at the time through the very thin walls of a Victorian Mansion Block. My Quad at the time although could musically could not compete. I had bought the Quad in 1984 at a place in Camden by Mornington Crescent, although I felt that I bought what" that particular shop "wanted to sell me rather than what I wanted.

  • I would just like to thank the Bartlett's team for pulling out all the stops when an order failed to materialise through no fault of their own. Terrific service and would certainly shop with Bartlett's again.

  • Firstly delivery was estimated at 7-11 days - it was actually delivered by courier the next day (Free). Item was an excellent price and although it was advertised as used - it was absolutely mint. This is what internet buying should be like - well done all at Bartletts!
