About This Product

The Project X1 Turntable is the latest version of Project's original turntable, using a heavyweight MDF plinth housing a DC/AC generator to deliver clean and stable power to the quiet motor. The platter of the X1 is constructed from heavy non-resonant Acryl, and performs with smooth liquid rotation thanks to the premium grade main bearing on the belt-driven turntable. The X1 features a switch to change between 33 and 45rpm, as well as supporting 78rpm records.

The super-stiff yet lightweight carbon/aluminium sandwich tonearm helps the Project X1 deliver an unrivalled performance, with improved resistance to external interference. With adjustable azimuth and VTA settings for absolute accuracy, the tonearm is also supplied with a TPE-damped counterweight to further reduce resonance.

The Project X1 is factory fitted with the Project Pick IT S2 MM cartridge, manufactured by Ortofon, and voiced by the Project design team. This allows you to get the X1 turntable set up straight away and get playing right out of the box. Connect IT E RCA cables are also supplied, specifically designed cables for turntables, with low capacitance and superior shielding. An acrylic dust cover is included, to protect the turntable when not in use.

The turntable is available in three high quality finishes of walnut wood veneer, gloss black or gloss white, to suit any style or taste, with a true audiophile performance of vinyl.
