Audiophile plug&play turntable

Over the last couple of years the popularity of listening to analogue records has grown enormously. This trend has enticed a lot of manufacturers from far and wide to enter the turntable game. These new players are trying to get a piece of the cake with plastic, features, low quality and cheap prices. They forget what makes a real turntable – sound quality! You can extract all the detail from the micro-grooves of your record only with high quality components and precision. Plastic, lightweight platters, flimsy tonearms and low quality cabling with primitive cartridges are not suited for real HiFi grade turntables.

With a smart tonearm design we were able to combine pure sound quality with an easy setup. Our plug&play design with pre-adjusted tracking force and anti-skating has saved us costs and is extremely efficient in handling for our customers. With no compromise in sound. On contraire, the lightweight and low friction aluminium tonearm is optimized for the Ortofon cartridge and will bring out its maximum potential. With intelligent construction and without needless features we were able to keep the price attractive, despite this product being hand-made in Europe. This way we‘re able to offer our customers the sound quality they deserve!

Once again thanks for your help. I first visited Bartletts in 1993 and bought the Audiolab 8000a to equalise and compete with whatever the neighbours were playing at the time through the very thin walls of a Victorian Mansion Block. My Quad at the time although could musically could not compete. I had bought the Quad in 1984 at a place in Camden by Mornington Crescent, although I felt that I bought what" that particular shop "wanted to sell me rather than what I wanted.

Firstly delivery was estimated at 7-11 days - it was actually delivered by courier the next day (Free). Item was an excellent price and although it was advertised as used - it was absolutely mint. This is what internet buying should be like - well done all at Bartletts!
