An upgrade from the entry level KT-50, our KT-100 turntable offers customers the same small format high gloss Makassar plinth but boasts the superior TALK A5 Carbon uni-pivot tonearm.
Wanting to fill a variety of price points before launching Kestrel Audio, we had to decide upon the range and the KT-100 was our solution to supply the option of a slightly more compact plinth, for those with tighter set ups, whilst not necessarily having to lose out on any significant performance. It comes fitted with the same specification of machined parts as the KT-50, however the real difference between the two becomes very clear when you look at the tonearm. Wielding a carbon fibre 12mm arm tube matched with the acetal sub-platter and machined acrylic 12mm platter the KT-100 is noticeably superior and is a keen partner to any audiophile looking in this price range. The A5 Carbon tonearm is the same as what you would see on the Edwards Audio TT4 and TT5 which have both been awarded very highly for their amazing performance, including the TT4 winning German LP magazines ‘Product of the Year’ in 2021. The classical aesthetic continues throughout our entire range offered in either satin Walnut or high gloss Makassar finishes providing not only performance but a wonderful statement to have in your desired room.
The KT-100 may be compacted in size but you will not be disappointed by its arsenal of sound quality!
PLEASE NOTE the KT-100 does not come fitted with a cartridge, however Zephyr C50 and C100 cartridges may be available upon request at an extra cost dependant on your retailers stock.
Stainless steel counterweight, clear acrylic Z-type dust cover, set up accessories, plug top PSU and starter phono leads are included.
