iFi Audio Zen Can Signature 6XX Headphone Amplifier is an all-analogue headphone amp that has improved features over the original Zen Can model. The Zen Can Sig 6XX has all the qualities of the original unit, but includes improved circuitry and custom EQ settings to get the most out of your headphones.

iFi Audio's Zen Can Signature 6XX takes headphone amplification to another level, with improved an sound quality and added features that enhance the listening experience. Compared to the original Zen Can model, the 6XX has better driving capabilities and has specific features that are designed for the Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones.

ActivEQ

iFi Audio's ActivEQ technology combines active and passive components to create a specific EQ curve that is designed specifically for the high quality MassDrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones.

This feature is activated with the use of the 'HD 6XX' button and calibrates the signal to complement the headphone's response characteristics. ActiveEQ can also be used for the Sennheiser HD 650 headphones, which shares similar audio characteristics, among many more headphones models.

Suit All Your Headphones

The Zen Can Signature 6XX has four gain settings, which alter in steps of 6 dB's, 0dB, 6dB, 12dB and 18db, and allows the Zen Can 6XX to achieve the correct gain levels for your chosen headphones.

We recommend using the unity gain (0dB) for sensitive in-ear monitors, while the higher gain settings should be applied for the tougher headphone loads. By selecting an appropriate gain level you can expand the headphone soundstage to achieve a more realistic and immersive experience.

High End Circuitry

The Zen Can Signature 6XX's circuitry is similar to what you may find in high end headphone amps and has features also taken from iFi Audio's flagship headphone amplifier, the Pro iCan.

With the trickled down features and improved circuitry, the Zen Can Sig 6XX boasts a impressive drive capability, which allows you to even use planar headphones if you wished. All in all this model produces a stellar performance with rich detail, ultra-low distortion levels, wide dynamics and the ability to drive all manner of headphones.

Connections

The Zen Can Sig 6XX has stereo RCA and 3.5mm inputs, plus a balanced 4.4mm Pentaconn input. For the outputs, a 4.4mm balanced output is provided for connection to power amps that are equipped with a balanced input, and a 4.4mm Pentaconn balanced output for headphones.
