About This Product

Step-up in sound
The SR80x headphones are where the Grado Prestige series began. Stepping up on the SR60x model, the SR80x features de-stressed drivers for a broader and more open sound. The style has stayed the same since 1991, making these headphones a true icon of headphone design.

Fourth generation, X Series driver
The fourth generation of SR80 gets the latest X Series drivers for reduced distortion and enhanced response. Tuned specifically for the SR80x, the combination of more powerful magnets and reduced voice coil mass helps improve the headphones efficiency and speed of response. This not only reduces distortion but also improves the harmonic response, meaning the sound is closer to the original than ever.

Durable design
Always a durable design, the SR80x features an even tougher cable. Essential in a pair of headphones that are designed for music on the move, the high quality connection cable has a more durable exterior. Folding earpieces make the headphones easy to pack once you’ve arrived at your destination.

Improved comfort
Fully adjustable earpieces and soft foam pads have always made the Prestige headphones one of the most comfortable in their class. Now featuring a padded headband, the latest version are even more comfy, making longer listening sessions fly by.

Hand-built in Brooklyn
Each pair of SR80x headphones is hand-built in Brooklyn. With a history that stretches right back to 1953, the company is still run by the Grado family, giving continuity to the product design and style. Evolution rather than revolution has kept the Grado headphones at the peak of their game and top of their class.

Hear what a headphone icon sounds like, with the Grado SR80x.

  • Once again thanks for your help. I first visited Bartletts in 1993 and bought the Audiolab 8000a to equalise and compete with whatever the neighbours were playing at the time through the very thin walls of a Victorian Mansion Block. My Quad at the time although could musically could not compete. I had bought the Quad in 1984 at a place in Camden by Mornington Crescent, although I felt that I bought what" that particular shop "wanted to sell me rather than what I wanted.

  • I would just like to thank the Bartlett's team for pulling out all the stops when an order failed to materialise through no fault of their own. Terrific service and would certainly shop with Bartlett's again.

  • If I could give Bartlett's 10 stars I would....Quite superb service (a special mention for Simon here) - Buy from this supplier with complete confidence.
